Today has seen the official DVD and Blu-Ray release of Torchwood - The Complete Collection, collecting Torchwood series one and two plus Children of Earth, around the United Kingdom and Ireland. The Torchwood - The Complete Collection box set features every story of Torchwood from the premiere story Everything Changes (2006) to Torchwood: Children of Earth (2009) within.

Torchwood first made its debut in the Doctor Who story Tooth and Claw (2006), founded by Queen Victoria during the story, then later went onto make an appearance in Army of Ghosts/Doomsday (2006) based at Canary Wharf. Torchwood - The Complete Collection features John Barrowman as Captain Jack Harkness and Eve Myles as Gwen Cooper.

Torchwood - The Complete Collection DVD box set is currently available for the price of £59.99 while the Blu-Ray is currently available for the price of £69.99 around the United Kingdom and Ireland. The BBC hasn’t confirmed whether or not if Torchwood will continue beyond Torchwood: Children of Earth but Doctor Who Hideout will keep readers updated.
