Doctor Who - The Collection DVD Box Set Released

Today has seen the official DVD release of Doctor Who - The Collection, collecting series one to four of Doctor Who, around the United Kingdom and Ireland from 2lEntertain. Doctor Who - The Collection features all forty five episodes, from Rose (2005) to Journey’s End (2008), featuring both The Ninth Doctor, portrayed by Christopher Eccleston, and the Tenth Doctor, as portrayed by David Tennant, included within.

Series One of Doctor Who featured the Ninth Doctor with Rose Tyler travel from Victorian Cardiff all the way to Satellite Five while encountering the likes of Daleks, Slitheen and Gelth. Series Twenty Seven was the only series of Doctor Who to feature Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor before regenerating into the Tenth Doctor.

Series Two of Doctor Who featured the Tenth Doctor with Rose Tyler travel from New Earth to the 2012 London Olympics while encountering the Cybermen, Cassandra and the Ood. Series Twenty Eight was the final series of Doctor Who to feature Billie Piper as Rose Tyler, as the main companion, departing in Doomsday after defeating the Daleks and the Cybermen.

Series Three of Doctor Who featured the Tenth Doctor with Martha Jones travel from World War One to the Torajii System while encountering the Daleks, the Judoon and The Master. Series Twenty Nine was the only series of Doctor Who to feature Freema Agyeman as Martha Jones, as the main companion, departing in Last of the Time Lords after defeating the Master.

Series Four of Doctor Who featured the Tenth Doctor with Donna Noble travel from Pompeii to the deadly planet Midnight while encountering the Ood, the Sontarans and Davros. Series Thirty was the only series of Doctor Who to feature Catherine Tate as Donna Noble, as the main companion, departing in Journey’s End after defeating Davros and the Daleks.

Doctor Who - The Collection is available from 2lEntertain for the price of £89.99 round the United Kingdom and Ireland. Doctor Who returns this November with The Waters of Mars, written by Phil Ford with Russell T Davies, featuring the Tenth Doctor, as portrayed by David Tennant, with Adelaide, portrayed by Lindsay Duncan, in his penultimate adventure.
