The British Academy of Film and Television Arts have revealed the nominations for the BAFTA Children Awards in which The Sarah Jane Adventures has received a nomination. The Sarah Jane Adventures has been nominated for the second series penultimate story, The Temptation of Sarah Jane Smith written by Gareth Roberts, faces competition from; Dustbin Baby, Wil’s Christmas List and US5 for Best Drama.The Doctor Who spin-off based around the adventures of Sarah Jane Smith, Luke Smith, Clyde Langer and Rani Chandra has also been nominated by BAFTA Kid’s for Television Shortlist against various other Children’s programmes. The BAFTA Children Awards nominations can be found here on the website British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
The BBC’s Doctor Who website has also been nominated for Website Shortlist by BAFTA Kid’s against various other websites, including the CBBC website, aimed at the younger generation of Children. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts will reveal the winning results for the BAFTA Children Awards and the BAFTA Kid’s Awards next month.
