The Keys of Marinus DVD Released

Today has seen the official DVD release of the First Doctor story The Keys of Marinus (1966) from 2lEntertain for the price of £19.99 around the United Kingdom and Ireland. The Keys of Marinus, written by Terry Nation, featured William Hartnell as the First Doctor with Carole Ann Ford, Jacqueline Hill and William Russell as companions Susan Foreman, Barbara Wright and Ian Chesterton respectively.

Extras for the release of The Keys of Marinus include: Commentary, The Sets of Marinus, Photo Gallery, Coming Soon - The Dalek War, Programme Subtitles and Subtitle Production Notes. The Keys of Marinus commentary features actors William Russell, Carole Ann Ford, director John Gorrie and designer Raymond Cusick with moderation by Clayton Hickman.

The Third Doctor stories Frontier in Space (1973) and Planet of the Daleks (1973), titled Dalek War, will be released by 2lEntertain on the Fifth of October for the price of £34.99 around the United Kingdom and Ireland. The next Doctor Who DVD release after Dalek War is currently rumoured to consist of the Fifth Doctor’s stories The King’s Demons and Planet of Fire.
