The Complete Torchwood Box Set Announced

2lentertain have recently confirmed that an exclusive Torchwood Collectors DVD box set, containing the first two series of Torchwood plus Torchwood: Children of Earth, will be released this October around the United Kingdom and Ireland. Torchwood first received its premiere broadcast in 2006 on the Twenty Second of October with Everything Changes, followed by Day One, in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The first two series of Torchwood featured Captain Jack Harkness as Torchwood Three’s leader with Gwen Cooper, Owen Harper, Toshiko Sato and Ianto Jones as the Cardiff Torchwood team. Both Owen Harper and Toshiko Sato unfortunately died in Exit Wounds, the second series finale, while attempting to save Cardiff from destruction.

The third series of Torchwood, Torchwood: Children of Earth, featured Captain Jack Harkness once again as Torchwood Three’s leader with Gwen Cooper and Ianto Jones at his side when they encountered the 456 aliens. Ianto Jones became the fourth Torchwood Three operative to die while attempting to save the 456 taking 10% of the world’s Children.

2lentertain will release the complete Torchwood series box set on the Twenty Sixth of October for the price of £59.99 around the United Kingdom and Ireland.
