The Black Guardian Trilogy DVD Box Set Cover

British Doctor Who DVD manufacturers 2lentertain, in conjunction with BBC DVD, have recently revealed the box set cover for the upcoming four disc DVD release of the Black Guardian Trilogy. The Black Guardian Trilogy box set comprises of Mawdryn Undead, Terminus plus Enlightenment which all feature the Fifth Doctor, portrayed by Peter Davison, and his companions encounter the Black Guardian.

The first part of the Black Guardian Trilogy, Mawdryn Undead, was written by Peter Grimwade and featured Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor alongside companions Nyssa and Tegan. DVD features for Mawdryn Undead include: Commentary, Who Wants to Live Forever?, Liberty Hall, Deleted and Extended Scenes, Film Trims, Out-takes, CGI Effects, Continuity, Photo Gallery, Set Photo Gallery, Isolated Score, Coming Soon, Programme Subtitles and Subtitle Production Notes.

The second part of the Black Guardian Trilogy, Terminus, was written by Stephen Gallagher and featured Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor alongside companions Tegan, Turlough plus Nyssa. DVD features for Terminus include: Commentary, Breaking Point, Origins of the Universe, Original Storyboards, Unused Model Shots, CGI Effects, Photo Gallery, Isolated Score, Coming Soon, Programme Subtitles and Subtitle Production Notes.

The third part of the Black Guardian Trilogy, Enlightenment, was written by Barbara Clegg and featured Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor alongside companions Tegan and Turlough. DVD features for Enlightenment include: Commentary, Winner Takes All, Casting Off!, Single Write Female, The Story of the Guardians, Storyboards, Photo Gallery, Isolated Score, Coming Soon, Programme Subtitles and Subtitle Production Notes.
