Tonight’s Friday Night with Jonathon Ross features an exclusive interview from Matt Smith to promote the upcoming series of Doctor Who ahead of its return, with The Eleventh Hour, in just over a weeks time on BBC One and BBC HD. Doctor Who’s return with The Eleventh Hour, written by Steven Moffat, will feature the introduction of Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor and Karen Gillan as companion Amy Pond. According to someone who attended the filming of Friday Night with Jonathon Ross, an exclusive clip from Vampires in Venice was shown plus Matt brought in the new Sonic Screwdriver prop. Friday Night with Jonathon Ross will be broadcast at 10:40pm on BBC One although when Matt's interview will be shown in the programme is unkown.
