The BBC have recently confirmed that Matt Smith will be appearing on Friday Night with Jonathon Ross on Friday the Twenty Sixth of March ahead of Doctor Who’s return to BBC One and BBC HD in April. Friday the Twenty Sixth of March is also the fifth anniversary of Doctor Who’s revival back in 2005 with Rose, written by Russell T Davies, which was the first Doctor Who story since the 1996 TV Movie with Paul McGann.Other guests appearing alongside Matt Smith on Friday Night with Jonathon Ross include Sandra Bullock and Emma Thompson with music performed by Goldfrapp. Doctor Who will return with its fifth series in The Eleventh Hour, written by Steven Moffat, which will see the introduction of Matt Smith as the Doctor and Karen Gillan as Amy Pond.
