BBC America transmitted their first promotional trailer for series five of Doctor Who yesterday, after a repeat showing of the Tenth Doctor story Blink, which will begin on BBC America next month. Doctor Who returns for its fifth series since its 2005 revival with The Eleventh Hour, written by Steven Moffat, which will see the introduction of Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor and Karen Gillan as companion Amy Pond.The Eleventh Hour will be broadcast in America on Saturday the Seventeenth of April at 9/8c on BBC America with the Canadian broadcast at 9pm on Space the same day and then the Australian broadcast the following day at 7pm on ABC. The Eleventh Hour will receive its debut broadcast in the United Kingdom and Ireland on Saturday the Third of April.
