Tenth Anniversary of Doctor Who DVD Releases

Today is the Tenth Anniversary of the Doctor Who DVD range from 2lEntertain which began on the First of November 1999 with the DVD release of the Doctor Who Twentieth Anniversary story; The Five Doctors around the United Kingdom and Ireland. The Five Doctors, written by Terrance Dicks, was then later re-released on DVD during 2008 as a Twenty Fifth Anniversary DVD Special Edition of The Five Doctors.

Since the 1999 release of The Five Doctors, 2lEntertain have released the majority of Doctor Who stories from the beginning, An Unearthly Child, to the very latest, Planet of the Dead, on DVD. 2lEntertain’s next DVD release will be the Third Doctor stories; The Curse of Peladon and The Monster of Peladon on January Fourth around the United Kingdom and Ireland.

2lEntertain recently confirmed to Doctor Who Online that 2010 will also see the DVD release of Myths and Legends box set in March plus the DVD release of The Masque of Mandragora sometime during the first few months of next year.
