Dreamland Episode One Released this Afternoon

The first episode of Doctor Who Animated Special Dreamland, written by The Waters of Mars writer Phil Ford, will be released this afternoon by the BBC on the BBC’s official Doctor Who website. Dreamland features David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor, in his second animated adventures after 2007’s The Infinite Quest, joined by Georgia Moffett and Tim Howar as companions Cassie Rice and Jimmy Stalkingwolf.

Phil Ford has written The Sarah Jane Adventures stories Eye of the Gorgon, The Lost Boy, The Last Sontaran, Day of the Clown, Enemy of the Bane, Prisoner of the Judoon, The Eternity Trap, Mona Lisa’s Revenge and the Torchwood story Something Borrowed. Phil Ford recently contributed to Doctor Who with the Autumn Doctor Who Special The Waters of Mars, written by Phil with Russell T Davies, which was Tenth Doctor’s penultimate story.

Episode two of Dreamland, again written by Phil Ford, will be released on the BBC’s Doctor Who website tomorrow afternoon at this section of the Doctor Who site for viewers in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The BBC recently confirmed that Dreamland will be repeated with all six parts combined on Saturday the Fifth of December on at 10pm on BBC Two and on BBC HD.
