Doctor Who - The End of Time First Official Trailer

Today’s broadcast of The Waters of Mars has seen the first official trailer for the upcoming Doctor Who Christmas Special, The End of Time written by Russell T Davies, since the trailer from the 2008 San Diego Comic-Con. The End of Time will be the final Doctor Who story to feature David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor and the final story to be written by Russell T Davies who’s leaving the show after five years.

The End of Time will see the return of the Doctor’s arch nemesis, The Master last seen in the story Utopia/The Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords, portrayed by John Simm. Catherine Tate and Bernard Cribbins also return for The End of Time, as Donna Noble and Wilfred Mott respectively, last seen in the story The Stolen Earth/Journey’s End last year.

The latest Doctor Who Special, The Waters of Mars, is currently available here on BBC iPlayer, only for those in the United Kingdom and Ireland, until 7:59pm on the Twenty Second of November. The BBC haven’t confirmed the title for the penultimate episode of the Tenth Doctor, but Russell T Davies confirmed recently to Doctor Who Magazine that it consists of six words.
