Today will see the premiere of Prisoner of the Judoon part two, written by Phil Ford, as series three of The Sarah Jane Adventures continues at 4:35pm on BBC One plus BBC HD around the United Kingdom and Ireland. The third series of The Sarah Jane Adventures features Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith alongside Thomas Knight as Luke Smith, Daniel Anthony as Clyde Langer and Anjli Mohindra as Rani Chandra.

Doctor Who actor David Tennant will be making a special appearance this series, during the story The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith, as the Tenth Doctor. Russell T Davies has confirmed recently in Doctor Who Magazine that a fourth series of The Sarah Jane Adventures is in pre-production but nothing will go ahead without permission from the BBC.
