The Dalek War DVD Box Set Released

Today has seen the official DVD box set release of Frontier in Space (1973) with Planet of the Daleks (1973), titled Dalek War, from 2lEntertain for the price of £19.99 around the United Kingdom and Ireland. The Dalek War box set was originally intended for release this December around the United Kingdom and Ireland but was moved forward due to the forwarded release of Torchwood: Children of Earth.

Frontier in Space, written by Malcom Hulke, featured Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor with Katy Manning as companion Jo Grant and Roger Delgado as the Master. DVD features for Frontier in Space include: Commentary, Stripped for Action - The Third Doctor, Photo Gallery, The Space War, The Perfect Scenario - Lost Frontiers and Roger Delgado - The Master.

Planet of the Daleks, written by Terry Nation, featured Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor with Katy Manning as companion Jo Grant battle the Daleks. DVD features for Planet of the Daleks include: Commentary, Stripped for Action - The Daleks, Photo Gallery, The Perfect Scenario - The End of Dreams, The Rumble in the Jungle, Multi-Colourisation and Blue Peter.

The Dalek War DVD box set will be released by 2lEntertain on the Fifth of October for the price of £34.99 around the United Kingdom and Ireland. The King’s Demons/Planet of Fire DVD box set will be released by 2lEntertain sometime in January 2010 as the first Doctor Who DVD that will be released next year around the United Kingdom and Ireland.
