Torchwood: Children of Earth Part One Overnight Ratings

BARB have revealed the unofficial overnight viewing figures for the first part of the Torchwood miniseries, Torchwood: Children of Earth, which received its premiere broadcast yesterday night on BBC One and BBC HD. The premiere of Torchwood: Children of Earth managed to achieve an amazing overnight viewing figure total of 5.94 million viewers with an audience share of 25.8% for its debut broadcast on BBC One.

Meanwhile over on BBC HD Torchwood: Children of Earth - Part One managed to achieve an additional 97,000 overnight viewing figures. Torchwood: Children of Earth - Part One managed to be the fifth most watched programme of Monday being only beaten by the ITV programmes Coronation Street and Emmerdale.
