Torchwood: Children of Earth Final Viewing Figures

BARB have recently revealed the official viewing figures for all five episodes of the recent Torchwood miniseries, Torchwood: Children of Earth, which received its premiere broadcast on BBC One and BBC HD weeks ago. Torchwood: Children of Earth featured John Barrowman, as Captain Jack, alongside Eve Myles, as Gwen Cooper, and Gareth David-Lloyd, as Ianto Jones, as the Torchwood Cardiff team.

Episodes One and Five of Torchwood: Children of Earth have both been written by Russell T Davies who previously contributed Everything Changes for Torchwood series one. Episodes Two and Four have both been written by English writer John Fay while episode Three has been written by Russell T Davies with James Moran who wrote Sleeper for Torchwood plus The Fires of Pompeii for Doctor Who.

Torchwood: Children of Earth Day One, written by Russell T Davies, managed to receive 6.47 million for its broadcast on BBC One on the Sixth of July. Meanwhile over on BBC HD Torchwood: Children of Earth Day One managed to receive 129,000 viewings for its broadcast with a further 717 viewings over on BBC Three later that night.

Torchwood: Children of Earth Day Two, written by John Fay, managed to receive 6.14 million for its broadcast on BBC One on the Seventh of July. Meanwhile over on BBC HD Torchwood: Children of Earth Day Two managed to receive 112,00 viewings for its broadcast with a further 852 viewings over on BBC Three later that night.

Torchwood: Children of Earth Day Three, written by Russell T Davies with James Moran, managed to receive 6.40 million for its broadcast on BBC One on the Eighth of July. Meanwhile over on BBC HD Torchwood: Children of Earth managed to receive 160,00 viewings for its broadcast with a further 734 viewings over on BBC Three later that night.

Torchwood: Children of Earth Day Four, written by John Fay, managed to receive 6.76 million for its broadcast on BBC One on the Ninth of July. Meanwhile over on BBC HD Torchwood: Children of Earth Day Four managed to receive 127,000 viewings for its broadcast with a further 738 viewings over on BBC Three later that night.

Torchwood: Children of Earth Day Five, written by Russell T Davies, managed to receive 6.58 million for its broadcast on BBC One on the Tenth of July. Meanwhile over on BBC HD Torchwood: Children of Earth managed to receive 151,000 viewings for its broadcast with a further 756 viewings over on BBC Three later that night.

Torchwood: Children of Earth is currently available on DVD for the price of £24.99, plus Blu-Ray for the price of £29.99, around the United Kingdom and Ireland. Euros Lyn, director of the final two Doctor Who specials featuring David Tennant, directed Torchwood: Children of Earth last Summer around Cardiff and London.
