The Sarah Jane Adventures Series Two DVD News

BBC DVD have recently confirmed that the second series of The Sarah Jane Adventures will be released on DVD around the United Kingdom and Ireland within the upcoming months. The second series of The Sarah Jane Adventures starred Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith alongside Thomas Knight as Luke Smith, Daniel Anthony as Clyde Langer, Anjli Mohindra as Rani Chandra and Yasmin Paige as Maria Jackson.

This DVD box set for the second series of The Sarah Jane Adventures will contain all six stories, The Last Sontaran to Enemy of the Bane, with each story being made up of two half hour parts. The BBC began broadcasting the second series of The Sarah Jane Adventures on the Twenty Ninth of September on BBC One with The Last Sontaran: Part One and finished on the Fifteenth of December with Enemy of the Bane: Part Two.

The Last Sontaran, The Day of the Clown and Enemy of the Bane had all been written by The Sarah Jane Adventures head writer Phil Ford. Meanwhile Secrets of the Stars plus The Temptation of Sarah Jane Smith had been written by regular Doctor Who and The Sarah Jane Adventures writer Gareth Roberts while The Mark of the Berserker was written by Joseph Lidster.

BBC DVD haven’t confirmed any further content, except the six stories, for this DVD box set release of The Sarah Jane Adventures but Doctor Who Hideout will keep all readers informed regarding this DVD box set release.
