Remembrance of the Daleks: Special Edition Released

Today has seen the official DVD re-release of the Seventh Doctor story Remembrance of the Daleks from regular Doctor Who DVD manufacturers 2lentertain around the United Kingdom and Ireland. Remembrance of the Daleks, written by Ben Aaronovitch, consists of four episodes which was broadcast during Autumn 1988 featuring Sylvester McCoy as the Seventh Doctor alongside Sophie Aldred as Ace.

DVD extras for this re-release of Remembrance of the Daleks are currently rumoured to be; Dolby Digital 5.1 re-mix, Commentary, Back to School, Remembrances, Extended and Deleted Scenes, Outtakes, Multi-Angle Sequences, Trails and Continuity, Photo Gallery, Isolated Music, Radio Times Listings, Programme subtitles, Subtitle Production Notes. All of those DVD extras are currently available on the re-release of Remembrance of the Daleks that’s part of The Davros box set.

2lentertain previously released Remembrance of the Daleks during the original Doctor Who DVD range in 2001 with very little material contained in the DVD. Remembrance of the Daleks was then re-released alongside Genesis Daleks, Destiny of the Daleks, Resurrection of the Daleks and Revelation of the Daleks in November 2007 as part of the exclusive Davros DVD box set.

2lentertain have recently confirmed that the exclusive Davros documentary, Davros Connection, which forms part of the Davros box set will be available on this re-release of Remembrance of the Daleks. Remembrance of the Daleks is currently available on DVD for the price of £19.99 around the United Kingdom and Ireland.
