New Torchwood: Children of Earth Trailers

UKTV Australia have recently began promoting the upcoming Torchwood miniseries, Torchwood: Children of Earth, on the official UKTV channel in Australia with two brand new Torchwood trailers. The upcoming Torchwood miniseries, Torchwood: Children of Earth, will consist of five hour long episodes which will be broadcast on BBC One and BBC HD this Summer, either in June or July, over five consecutive nights.

Episodes One, Four and Five of Torchwood: Children of Earth have been written by departing Head Doctor Who writer Russell T Davies who previously wrote the first Torchwood episode, Everything Changes, for series one. Episode Two of Torchwood: Children of Earth has been written by English writer John Fay. Episode Three of Torchwood: Children of Earth has been written by James Moran who previously contributed to Torchwood with Sleeper which was the second episode of Torchwood series two.

Torchwood: Children of Earth features John Barrowman, as Captain Jack, alongside Eve Myles, as Gwen Cooper, and Gareth David-Lloyd, as Ianto Jones, who face terrible danger from the mysterious 456 aliens. Euros Lyn, director of the final two Doctor Who specials featuring David Tennant, directed Torchwood: Children of Earth last Summer around Cardiff and London.
