Doctor Who Named Best Science Fiction Programme

Wizard, the monthly Science Fiction magazine published in America, has recently named Doctor Who the best Science Fiction programme of all time. Doctor Who was first broadcast on BBC One around the United Kingdom on the Twenty Third of November with the first part of An Unearthly Child which featured William Hartnell as the First Doctor alongside his granddaughter Susan plus School teacher Ian and Barbara.

Doctor Who was named best Science Fiction programme over popular American Science Fiction programmes such as Stark Trek, The X-Files and Supernatural. Doctor Who is described by Wizard as being the most durable, most charming and most altogether fun excursion into the unknown television programme.
