Scariest Monsters Results

BBC Magazines have recently revealed that the Weeping Angels from the Tenth Doctor episode Blink have been officially labelled scariest monsters in Doctor Who. The Weeping Angels have made their only appearance in Doctor Who during the Hugo winning Blink written by Scottish writer Steven Moffat who’s the upcoming producer of Doctor Who.

The Weeping Angels managed to received forty one percent of the final vote with the usual winners the Daleks coming second place with twenty two percent of the final vote. The Cybermen managed to achieve third place with the Clockwork Droids from The Girl in the Fireplace plus the Scarecrows from Human Nature and The Family of Blood closely behind in fourth and fifth place.

The survey was carried out by Children’s magazine Doctor Who Adventures which is released regularly around the United Kingdom and Ireland.
