Sylvester McCoy Interview

Scottish born Doctor Who actor Sylvester McCoy has recently been interviewed by the British Tabloid The Sunday Times regarding his time as the Seventh Doctor. Scottish born Sylvester McCoy was the last actor to portray the Doctor during the original series run of Doctor Who in the twentieth century before Michael Grade gave the demission to cancel Doctor Who in 1989 after the episode Survival.

Sylvester McCoy first made his appearance as the Seventh Doctor during the 1987 episode Time and the Rani alongside his companion Melanie Bush which was the first episode in eighteen months. Sylvester McCoy then made his final full appearance as the Seventh Doctor during the 1989 episode Survival before returning briefly at the start of the Television Movie to regenerate into the Eighth Doctor portrayed by Paul McGann.
