Peter Davison Interview

Popular science fiction and fantasy magazine SFX have recently published an exclusive website with Peter Davison on the official SFX website. Peter Davison held the title of youngest actor to portray the Doctor before the BBC announced Matt Smith’s casting as the eleventh Doctor last month.

Peter Davison first made his appearance as the Doctor in the final moments of Logopolis which brought the end of Tom Bakers era that had lasted seven years. Peter Davison then made his first full appearance as the Doctor in Castrovalva in 1982 before departing in The Caves of Androzani in 1984.

Peter later returned alongside various other Doctors during a special fund raising crossover with Eastenders titled Dimensions in Time in 1993. He last made his appearance during the 2007 Children in Need episode titled Time Crash.
