It was confirmed earlier today that the Doctor Who production team has finally flown over to Dubai to film scenes for Planet of the Dead. Both David Tennant and Michelle Ryan have been confirmed to be filming in a Dubai desert within the next few days.Filming for Planet of the Dead began last month in Cardiff with David Tennant, Michelle Ryan and Lee Evans. It is currently unknown how many days filming will be sent in Dubai or if any other confirmed actors will be filming alongside David Tennant and Michelle Ryan.
Planet of the Dead is the Easter special written by both Russell T Davies and Gareth Roberts. It has recently been rumoured that the Planet of the Dead broadcast will be delayed due to problems that happened in Dubai while the production team had been in Cardiff.
