New The Time of Angels Videos
The BBC have uploaded an introduction video for Saturday’s episode, The Time of Angels by Steven Moffat, along with three preview clips from the episode which will be broadcast at 18:20pm on BBC One and BBC HD. The Time of Angels features Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor, Karen Gillan as Amy Pond and Alex Kingston as River Song plus the return of the Weeping Angels.
The Time of Angels will conclude with Flesh and Stone by Steven Moffat the following Saturday at a unconfirmed time on both BBC One and BBC HD with Doctor Who Confidential on after. Synopsis for The Vampires of Venice
The BBC Press Office have released the official synopsis for episode six, The Vampires of Venice by Toby Whithouse, of Doctor Who’s new series which will be broadcast on BBC One and BBC HD on the Saturday the Eighth of May. The Vampires of Venice features Matt Smith as the Doctor, Karen Gillan as Amy Pond, Arthur Darvill as Rory Williams with Helen McCrory as Rosanna Calvierri.

Issue #34 of The DVD Files Released
The Thirty Fourth issue of the Doctor Who: The DVD Files magazine was officially released today by GE Fabbri, the makers of Doctor Who: battles in Time, for the price of £6.99 around the United Kingdom and Ireland. This issue of the Doctor Who: The DVD Files magazine features an exclusive DVD containing the 1984 story Resurrection of the Daleks, written by Eric Saward, featuring Peter Davison as the Doctor.
This issue will be available for purchase for the price of £6.99 around the United Kingdom and Ireland until the Fourth of May when the thirty fifth issue is released containing the Third Doctor story Spearhead from Space. Two Cybermen Stories Coming to DVD
The British Board of Film Classification have recently cleared a trailer which indicates that the Fourth Doctor story Revenge of the Cybermen and the Seventh Doctor story Silver Nemesis will be released together on DVD. Monday the Third of May will see the next Doctor Who DVD release with the Fourth Doctor story The Creature from the Pit for the price of £19.99 around the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Revenge of the Cybermen features Tom Baker as the Doctor, Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith and Ian Marter as Harry Sullivan while Silver Nemesis features Sylvester McCoy as the Doctor and Sophie Aldred as Ace. Further details regarding this DVD release, expected for release in July, will be posted here on Doctor Who Hideout when revealed.

Matt Smith and Katy Manning to Appear in The Sarah Jane Adventures
The BBC have confirmed that when The Sarah Jane Adventures returns for its fourth series this Autumn, Sarah Jane and the gang will be joined by two familiar Doctor Who characters. In a special two part adventure, written by previous Doctor Who executive producer Russell T Davies, Matt Smith will appear as the Doctor and Katy Manning will reprise her role as the Doctor’s previous companion Jo Grant. Katy Manning appeared in Doctor Who between Terror of the Autons and The Green Death alongside Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor. The Sarah Jane Adventures will return for its fourth series this Autumn will twelve new episodes and more information regarding the Doctor’s and Jo Grant’s appearance can be found here.

The Broadcasters Audience Research Board have revealed the official viewing figures for the Eleventh Doctor’s second story, The Beast Below, which was broadcast on BBC One and BBC HD earlier this month. When originally shown on Saturday the Tenth of April, The Beast Below managed an unofficial viewing figure of 6.4 million on BBC One with an additional 330,00 watching over on BBC HD.
According to the Broadcasters Audience Research Board, The Beast Below managed to achieve an official viewing figure of 8.42 million for BBC One with an additional 494,000 watching over on BBC HD. Doctor Who’s latest series continues this upcoming Saturday with The Time of Angels by Steven Moffat, and now the BBC have began broadcasting an exclusive television trailer for the episode on various channels.
