More Audio Adventures for the Fourth Doctor?

Rumours have recently surfaced that Tom Baker, the actor who portrayed the Fourth Doctor from 1974 to 1981, would be returning to the iconic role for both BBC Audio and Big Finish Productions. Speaking on his official website forum, which can be found here, Tom commented recently that he’s not only accepted to participate in one but he has also submitted some of his ideas into Big Finish Productions for storylines.

Tom last returned to the role of the Fourth Doctor in 2009 for an exclusive five part audio series, Hornets’ Nest written by Paul Magrs, which was re-released by BBC Audio recently as part of the complete collection. Even though Tom has agreed to participate in an audio for Big Finish Productions, its highly unlikely it’ll be released anytime soon.
