Latest Details for The Eleventh Hour from the BBC

The BBC have recently confirmed the official broadcast date and time for The Eleventh Hour, written by Steven Moffat, which will see the official debut of Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor and Karen Gillan as Amy Pond. It should be noted that the broadcast time for The Eleventh Hour could still change before broadcast and a broadcast time for The Eleventh Hour on BBC HD hasn’t been confirmed as of yet.

According to the BBC’s programme information website, The Eleventh Hour will be broadcast at 18:25 on Saturday the Third of April followed by Doctor Who Confidential over on BBC Three later that evening. The Eleventh Doctor next's adventure, titled The Beast Below by Steven Moffat, will be broadcast on BBC One and BBC HD the following Saturday.

The Synopsis:

The Doctor has regenerated into a brand new man, but danger strikes before he can even recover. With the TARDIS wrecked, and the sonic screwdriver destroyed, the new Doctor has just 20 minutes to save the whole world - and only Amy Pond to help him.

The official details regarding the BBC One and BBC HD broadcast of The Eleventh Hour on Saturday the Third of April will be revealed soon on the BBC’s official press office website. The Eleventh Hour is expected to be released on both DVD and Blu-Ray alongside The Beast Below plus Victory of the Daleks, written by Mark Gatiss, on Monday the Fourteenth of June.
