Series Five Broadcast Date for BBC America

BBC America have recently announced that the upcoming series of Doctor Who, featuring Matt Smith as the Doctor and Karen Gillan as Amy Pond, will begin in America on Sunday the Seventeenth of April with The Eleventh Hour. Series five of Doctor Who will begin in the United Kingdom and Ireland with The Eleventh Hour, written by new head writer Steven Moffat, reportedly on Saturday the Third of April.

Despite a variation on the promotional trailer, which was first shown last Saturday, claiming that Doctor Who will return on the Third of April, in the United Kingdom and Ireland, the BBC issued a report the other day denying the trailers existence.
