First Three Titles Confirmed for Series Five (Spoilers)

Issue Four hundred and Eight of Doctor Who Magazine, which will be released tomorrow around the United Kingdom and Ireland, confirms the titles for the first three stories of the Eleventh Doctor’s first series. Doctor Who will return, with its fifth series, sometime during the Spring with Matt Smith and Karen Gillan making their official television debut as the Eleventh Doctor and companion Amy Pond.

This issue of Doctor Who Magazine confirms that Steven Moffat has written the first two stories, titled The Eleventh Hour and The Beast Below, with further stories written by himself later on in the series. The issue also confirms that Mark Gatiss, writer of The Unquiet Dead and The Idiot’s Lantern, has written the third story of the series titled Victory of the Daleks.

The Eleventh Doctor makes his official debut sometime during the Spring, rumoured to either be late March or early April, in The Eleventh Hour which will be broadcast on BBC One and simultaneously on BBC HD. Doctor Who Hideout will keep readers informed regarding this series, featuring Matt Smith and Karen Gillan, as information is revealed before the series transmits.
