Broadcast Date Confirmed for The Eleventh Hour

The BBC have confirmed earlier today that Doctor Who will return with its fifth series since the revival, featuring Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor, on Saturday the Third of April with The Eleventh Hour written by Steven Moffat. The confirmation came from the variation of the exclusive promotional trailer, which debuted on our television screens yesterday, was shown in between programmes earlier on BBC One.

The Eleventh Hour, written by new executive producer Steven Moffat, will see the official television debut of both Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor and Karen Gillan as companion Amy Pond. Even though the BBC have confirmed that Doctor Who will return on the Third of April, the BBC haven’t yet confirmed what time it’ll be shown on BBC One and BBC HD.
