Brand New Series Five Promotional Trailer

The brand new promotional trailer for the upcoming series of Doctor Who, with Matt Smith as the Doctor and Karen Gillan as Amy Pond, was broadcast for the first time earlier on BBC One and on BBC HD. The trailer confirms that Doctor Who will be returning with its fifth series since the revival, now with Steven Moffat overseeing the programme, some point at Easter with The Eleventh Hour written by Steven Moffat.

The promotional trailer featured both the Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond fall into the time vortex encountering the likes of Weeping Angels, a Dalek and an unknown new enemy for the Doctor. Series five of Doctor Who returns with The Eleventh Hour, written by Steven Moffat, this Easter which will see the debut of Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor.
