BBC Books released Doctor Who - The Writer’s Tale: The Final Chapter, written by Russell T Davies plus featuring contributions from Benjamin Cook, today around the United Kingdom and Ireland. Doctor Who - The Writer’s Tale was originally released by BBC Books in September, detailing the decisions made by Russell during the production of series four, which is edited into Doctor Who - The Writer’s Tale: The Final Chapter.
Russell T Davies, the man that spearheaded Doctor Who’s return back in 2005 with Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor, officially left Doctor Who earlier this month after the broadcast of The End of Time which also saw David Tennant leave the programme. Russell was awarded an OBE from Queen Elizabeth the II in 2008 for his service to television drama.
Doctor Who - The Writer’s Tale: The Final Chapter is currently available for the price of £16.99 around the United Kingdom and Ireland. The official website for Doctor Who - The Writer’s Tale has recently updated the script section to include The Next Doctor, Planet of the Dead, The Waters of Mars and both parts of The End of Time alongside previous Doctor Who scripts.
