Doctor Who Magazine Issue #417 Released

Issue Four hundred and Seventeen of Doctor Who Magazine has officially been released today by Panini Magazines costing £4.99 around the United Kingdom and Ireland. Issue Four hundred and Seventeen of Doctor Who Magazine features an exclusive cover of Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor and is the first issue of Doctor Who Magazine to incorporate the brand new 2010 Doctor Who logo into its design.

The Eleventh Doctor will make his official television debut in Spring 2010, rumoured to be late March or early April, on BBC One and BBC HD with merchandise featuring the Eleventh Doctor cropping up around the same time. Doctor Who Hideout will keep readers updated regarding Doctor Who’s upcoming fifth series featuring Matt Smith and Karen Gillan.

Issue Four hundred and Seventeen of Doctor Who Magazine’s main feature is an exclusive interview with both Matt Smith and Karen Gillan regarding the upcoming series of Doctor Who. This issue also features an exclusive interview with David Tennant, an exclusive tribute to Doctor Who producer Barry Letts plus an exclusive poster of the Eleventh Doctor.

The new Doctor and Amy Pond, aka MATT SMITH and KAREN GILLAN, give their first ever joint interview – exclusively in Doctor Who Magazine 417!

“There’s a real bond, isn’t there?” says Matt.
“Yeah,” Karen agrees. “A connection.”
“That’s wonderful, I think,” Matt continues. “But also, with that, he’s sort of less tolerant than a lot of Doctors, and she's got a fire in her soul, in her belly, and so they combust together... but there’s great affection and love there, and we're developing that all the time...”
