Returning Monster Confirmed by Steven Moffat (Spoilers)

Incoming Doctor Who executive producer Steven Moffat has recently confirmed on the BBC Radio 3 programme Night Waves that the Eleventh Doctor will come face to face to with an old enemy in his first series that appeared during the Tenth Doctor’s era. The Eleventh Doctor will make his Doctor Who debut in Series Five next year which features Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor and Karen Gillan as companion Amy Pond.

The Weeping Angels, last seen in 2007’s Blink, are rumoured to be appearing in the first two part adventure of Series Five which also features another familiar face from the Tenth Doctor era. Series Five of Doctor Who is currently still filming with the latest known filming happening in the town of Trogir in Croatia with Matt Smith and Karen Gillan.

Doctor Who’s Fifth Series will begin next Spring on BBC One and BBC HD after the Tenth Doctor departs in the upcoming Doctor Who Christmas Specials, The End of Time by Russell T Davies, which will introduce Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor.
