The End of Time, Part One Appreciation Index

The Broadcasters Audience Research Board have recently revealed the official Appreciation Index for the first part of The End of Time, written by Russell T Davies, after its broadcast on BBC One on Christmas Day. Part one of The End of Time received an Appreciation Index of 87 which was the second highest Appreciation Index of Christmas day only beaten by the movie Gladiators, which managed to receive 89, over on ITV.

The Tenth Doctor’s final episode, part two of The End of Time, featuring the Tenth Doctor fighting his Time Lord nemesis The Master, as portrayed by John Simm, in his final battle. The first part of the Tenth Doctor’s final story has an approximate running time of sixty minutes while the second part has an approximate running time of seventy five minutes.

David Tennant is joined in the second part of The End of Time by one-off companion Bernard Cribbins as Wilfred Mott, grandfather of Donna Noble, which continues on from part ones cliff-hanger. BBC America have recently confirmed that the concluding part to the Tenth Doctor’s final story, The End of Time, will be broadcast on Saturday the Second of January on BBC America.
