Dreamland on BBC Two and BBC HD Today

Today will see the official broadcast of the Doctor Who Animated special, Dreamland written by The Sarah Jane Adventures writer Phil Ford, on BBC Two this morning and BBC HD this afternoon. Dreamland features David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor, in his second animated adventures after 2007’s The Infinite Quest, joined by Georgia Moffett and Tim Howar as companions Cassie Rice and Jimmy Stalkingwolf.

Phil Ford has written The Sarah Jane Adventures stories Eye of the Gorgon, The Lost Boy, The Last Sontaran, Day of the Clown, Enemy of the Bane, Prisoner of the Judoon, The Eternity Trap, Mona Lisa’s Revenge and the Torchwood story Something Borrowed. Phil Ford recently contributed to Doctor Who with the Autumn Doctor Who Special The Waters of Mars, written by Phil with Russell T Davies, which was Tenth Doctor’s penultimate story.

Dreamland, all six episodes combined, will be broadcast at 10am on CBBC on BBC Two, but wont be broadcast until 17.55pm in the afternoon on the BBC's High Definition channel. Dreamland will be released on DVD, Dreamland has also been rumoured for Blu-Ray release, by 2lEntertain on Monday the Second of February costing £12.99 around the United Kingdom and Ireland.
