The Sarah Jane Adventures - Series Two Box Set Released

Today has seen the official DVD release of The Sarah Jane Adventures - Series Two, featuring The Last Sontaran to Enemy of the Bane, around the United Kingdom and Ireland from BBC Children’s DVD. The second series starred Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith alongside Thomas Knight as Luke Smith, Daniel Anthony as Clyde Langer, Anjli Mohindra as Rani Chandra and Yasmin Paige as Maria Jackson.

This DVD box set for the second series of The Sarah Jane Adventures will contain all six stories, The Last Sontaran to Enemy of the Bane, with each story being made up of two half hour parts. The BBC began broadcasting the second series of The Sarah Jane Adventures on the Twenty Ninth of September on BBC One with The Last Sontaran: Part One and finished on the Fifteenth of December with Enemy of the Bane: Part Two.

Russell T Davies has confirmed recently in Doctor Who Magazine that both a fourth and fifth series of The Sarah Jane Adventures are currently in pre-production but nothing will go ahead without permission from the BBC. Series three continues with the fifth story, Mona Lisa’s Revenge written by Brian Dooley, this upcoming Thursday and Friday on BBC One plus BBC HD.
