Today will see the official premiere of series three’s fourth story The Eternity Trap part one, written by Phil Ford, at 4:35pm on BBC One, plus over on BBC HD as well, around the United Kingdom and Ireland. The third series of The Sarah Jane Adventures stars Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith alongside Thomas Knight as Luke Smith, Daniel Anthony as Clyde Langer and Anjli Mohindra as Rani Chandra.The Eternity Trap will conclude with part two on BBC One, plus BBC HD, on Friday the Sixth of October at 4:35pm around the United Kingdom and Ireland. Stories in this series include; Prisoner of the Judoon by Phil Ford, The Mad Woman in the Attic by Joseph Lidster, The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith by Gareth Roberts, The Eternity Trap by Phil Ford, Mona Lisa's Revenge by Phil Ford and The Gift by Rupert Laight.

A haunted house, with mysterious whispers and secrets in the shadows attracts Sarah Jane's attention. When Professor Rivers and the gang investigate an old legend, a monstrous creature appears as the grasp of Erasmus Darkening reaches out from centuries past.
Series three continues with the fifth story, Mona Lisa’s Revenge written by Phil Ford, next Thursday and Friday on BBC One plus BBC HD. Russell T Davies has confirmed recently in Doctor Who Magazine that a fourth and fifth series of The Sarah Jane Adventures are in pre-production however nothing will go ahead without permission from the BBC.
