The End of Time Part One and Two Synopsis (Spoilers)

The BBC Press Office have revealed the synopsis for the upcoming Doctor Who Christmas Specials, The End of Time by Russell T Davies, with part one broadcasting on Christmas Day. The End of Time will see the regeneration of the Tenth Doctor, as portrayed by David Tennant, into the Eleventh Doctor, as portrayed by Matt Smith, and the final story which will be written by Russell T Davies for Doctor Who.

The Tenth Doctor’s final story, The End of Time by Russell T Davies, will be broadcast on Christmas Day with the second part rumoured to be broadcast on New Years Day. The first part of the Tenth Doctor’s final story will have an approximate running time of sixty minutes while the second part will have an approximate running time of seventy five minutes.

The End of Time - Part One.

It's the Tenth Doctor's final journey – but his psychotic nemesis the Master has been reborn, on Christmas Eve. With both determined to cheat death, the battle ranges from the wastelands of London to the mysterious Immortality Gate, while the alien Ood warn of an even greater danger approaching, as a terrible shadow falls across the entire Universe.

David Tennant stars as the Tenth Doctor and guest stars include John Simm, Bernard Cribbins, Catherine Tate, Timothy Dalton, David Harewood and June Whitfield.

The End Of Time – Part One is written by Russell T Davies and directed by Euros Lyn. The producer is Tracie Simpson.

Doctor Who – The End Of Time: Part One is simulcast on the BBC HD channel – the BBC's High Definition channel, available through Freesat, Sky and Virgin Media.


The End of Time - Part Two.

The Doctor faces the end of his life as the Master's plans hurtle out of control. With the sound of drums growing louder, and an ancient trap closing around the Earth, the Doctor and Wilf must fight alone. But sacrifices must be made, and the deadly prophecy warns: "He will knock four times."

David Tennant stars as the Tenth Doctor and guest stars include John Simm, Bernard Cribbins, Catherine Tate, Timothy Dalton, David Harewood and June Whitfield.

David Tennant is joined in The End of Time by one-off companion Bernard Cribbins as Wilfred Mott, grandfather of previous companion Donna Noble, for the Tenth Doctor’s final story. BBC America recently confirmed that The End of Time - Part One will debut on BBC America on the Twenty Sixth of December with The Waters of Mars broadcasting on the Nineteenth of December.
