
The BBC’s Children in Need telethon begins broadcasting live at 7pm, on BBC One and BBC HD, hosted by Sir Terry Wogan who’s joined by Tess Daly and Alesha Dixon. Doctor Who and Torchwood actor John Barrowman will also be making an appearance live on the BBC’s Children in Need telethon for a duet with Myleene Klass in the studio.
Doctor Who’s first contribution to Children in Need was during 1983 with the Twentieth anniversary Special The Five Doctors, featuring Peter Davison, during Children in Need. Since Doctor Who returned to BBC One it has contributed to the Children in Need telethon with two mini stories, an exclusive concert and an exclusive tour of the Upper Boat Studios.
Doctor Who Hideout would like every reader to contribute to the BBC’s Children in Need telethon this month as much as possible to help improve the lives of the unfortunate.
