Today will see the official premiere of series three’s third story The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith part one, written by Gareth Roberts, at 4:35pm on BBC One plus BBC HD around the United Kingdom and Ireland. The third series of The Sarah Jane Adventures stars Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith alongside Thomas Knight as Luke Smith, Daniel Anthony as Clyde Langer and Anjli Mohindra as Rani Chandra.

The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith will conclude with part two on BBC One plus BBC HD on Friday the Thirtieth of October at 4:35pm around the United Kingdom and Ireland. Sarah Jane has met Peter Dalton and wants him to become part of her life, as the adventure series continues; perhaps he could become a father to Luke. But Clyde suspects that Peter is hiding secrets, especially when he and Rani find an empty house where his home should be.

The Doctor makes a spectacular return on the happiest day of Sarah Jane's life but a deadly trap is awaiting them all. As the strands of a clever and careful plan come together, can even a Time Lord save Sarah Jane on the day of her arch-enemy's greatest triumph?

Series three continues with the fourth story, The Eternity Trap written by Phil Ford, next Thursday and Friday on BBC One and BBC HD. Russell T Davies has confirmed recently in Doctor Who Magazine that a fourth and fifth series of The Sarah Jane Adventures are in pre-production however nothing will go ahead without permission from the BBC.
