Synopsis for Part One and Two of Prisoner of the Judoon

The official synopsis for both parts of Prisoner of the Judoon, the premiere story of The Sarah Jane Adventures series three, have recently been revealed by the BBC Press Office ahead of its broadcast next month. The first part of Prisoner of the Judoon will receive its BBC One debut on the Fifteenth of October at 4:35pm with the concluding part of Prisoner of the Judoon being shown on BBC One at the same time the following day.

The third series features Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith alongside Thomas Knight as Luke Smith, Daniel Anthony as Clyde Langer and Anjli Mohindra as Rani Chandra. Stories this year include; Prisoner of the Judoon by Phil Ford, The Mad Woman in the Attic by Joseph Lidster, The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith by Gareth Roberts, The Eternity Trap by Phil Ford, Mona Lisa's Revenge by Phil Ford and The Gift by Rupert Laight.

Below is the official synopsis for Prisoner of the Judoon part one:

Sarah Jane and the gang face the most dangerous day of their lives, as the rhino-like Judoon return. When prisoner Androvax the Destroyer crash-lands on Earth, a Veil is set free and starts to turn Earth's technology against itself. And his next intended victim is Sarah Jane.

Luke, Clyde and Rani fight their most fearsome enemy yet – Sarah Jane Smith – in the second episode of this two-part, alien-busting adventure.

As the Judoon fleet approaches Earth, it's a race against time to stop Androvax. But with Genetech's technology on the rampage, and Rani's parents taken prisoner, can anything stop the Army of the Infinitesimal?


The third series of The Sarah Jane Adventures starred Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith alongside Thomas Knight as Luke Smith, Daniel Anthony as Clyde Langer and Anjli Mohindra as Rani Chandra. Doctor Who actor David Tennant is also set to make an appearance in The Sarah Jane Adventures story The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith as the Tenth Doctor.
