The Doctor Who Files Collectors Edition Box Set Cover

BBC Children Books, in conjunction with Puffin Books, have recently revealed the cover for the upcoming release of the collectors edition box set of The Doctor Who Files. The Doctor Who Files began in 2006 when Penguin Books collaborated with BBC Children Books to release the first book of the series and have since published thirteen other titles for The Doctor Who Files series which detail various characters.

All of the titles in the Doctor Who Files series have a hexagonal cut out in the cover though which the featured character could be seen. Each title in the series is illustrated with photographs and is broken down into small sections of text under various headings with every other page having a gate-fold Test your Knowledge section.

Characters that have featured in the Doctor File series are: The Tenth Doctor, Rose Tyler, the Slitheen, Mickey Smith, K9, the Daleks, the Cybermen, Martha Jones, Jack Harkness, the Cult of Skaro, Tardis, the Ood and the Sontarans. It is currently unknown if that BBC Children Books will release further titles for The Doctor Who Files series focusing on other characters that have appeared in the programme.

This collectors edition box set of the Doctor Who Files will contain over four hundred pages focusing on all fourteen characters. BBC Children Books, in conjunction with Puffin Books, will release The Doctor Who Files Collectors edition box set on the First of October for the price of £30.00 around the United Kingdom and Ireland.
