Torchwood: Children of Earth - Part Five Reminder

Today will see the official broadcast of Torchwood: Children of Earth - Part Five, written by Russell T Davies, at 9pm on BBC One, plus BBC HD, around the United Kingdom and Ireland. The Torchwood five part miniseries, Torchwood: Children of Earth, features John Barrowman, as Captain Jack, alongside Eve Myles, as Gwen Cooper, and Gareth David-Lloyd, as Ianto Jones, as the Torchwood Cardiff team.

Episodes One and Five of Torchwood: Children of Earth have both been written by Russell T Davies who previously contributed Everything Changes for Torchwood series one. Episodes Two and Four have both been written by English writer John Fay while episode Three has been written by Russell T Davies with James Moran who wrote Sleeper for Torchwood plus The Fires of Pompeii for Doctor Who.

Torchwood is defenceless and Gwen Cooper stands alone, as the final sanction begins, in the last part of the new Torchwood adventure.

As violence erupts and the world descends into anarchy, an ordinary housing estate becomes a battleground, where the future of the human race will be decided.


Torchwood: Children of Earth will be released on DVD around the United Kingdom and Ireland on the Thirteenth of July. Euros Lyn, director of the final two Doctor Who specials featuring David Tennant, directed Torchwood: Children of Earth last Summer around Cardiff and London.
