Nominations Revealed for Portal Awards

The Science-fiction and fantasy entertainment website Airlock Alpha have recently revealed the nominations for the upcoming Portal Awards which includes four nominations for Doctor Who plus one nomination for The Sarah Jane Adventures. Voting for Airlock Alphas Portal Awards was opened on the Twenty Fifth of June and is currently open until the Twenty Fifth of July with voters being able to vote daily until that deadline.

Scottish actor David Tennant has been nominated in the Portal Awards, in the category “Best Actor in Television”, for his portrayal of the Tenth Doctor. English actress Catherine Tate has been nominated in the Portal Awards, in the category “Best Actress in Television”, for her portrayal of Donna Noble during the fourth series of Doctor Who.

Former Doctor Who actress Billie Piper has been nominated in the Portal Awards, in the category “Best Guest Star in Television”, for her guest appearance as Rose Tyler during the Tenth Doctor episode The Stolen Earth. Turn Left, written by Russell T Davies, has been nominated in the Portal Awards, in the category “Best Episode in Television”, which featured Donna Noble alongside Rose Tyler attempting to save the Earth from the approaching Darkness.

The Sarah Jane Adventures actor Thomas Knight has been nominated in the Portal Awards, in the category “Best Young Actor in Television”, for his portrayal of Luke Smith in The Sarah Jane Adventures. Voting is currently open here until the Twenty Fifth of July and Doctor Who Hideout wishes David Tennant, Catherine Tate, Billie Piper, Thomas Knight plus the episode Turn Left good luck in these awards.
