The Black Guardian Trilogy August Release Date

Various online retailers are reporting that the Black Guardian Trilogy, featuring the Fifth Doctor against the Black Guardian, is going to be released on DVD box set around the United Kingdom and Ireland this August. The Black Guardian Trilogy comprised of three episodes Mawdryn Undead, Terminus and Enlightenment all of which are part of the Twentieth series which featured the Doctor encountering previous foes.

Mawdryn Undead is a story of four episodes, written by Peter Grimwade, featuring Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor alongside companions Nyssa and Tegan Jovanka. Terminus is a story of four episodes, written by Stephen Gallagher, featuring the Fifth Doctor alongside companions Nyssa, Tegan Jovanka and Visor Turlough. Enlightenment is a story of four episodes, written by Barbara Clegg, featuring the Fifth Doctor alongside companions Tegan Jovanka and Visor Turlough.
