Torchwood Audio: In the Shadows

The cover for an upcoming exclusive Torchwood audio adventure titled In the Shadows written by Joseph Lidster has recently been revealed by BBC Audio. Torchwood and Doctor Who actress Eve Myles has been confirmed to be narrating In the Shadows which features Jack Harkness, Gwen Cooper, Ianto Jones, Toshiko Sato and Owen Harper.

Joseph Lidster previously wrote an episode of Torchwood series two titled A Day in the Death and an episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures series two titled The Mark of the Berserker. Joseph Lidster previously wrote the Torchwood original audio Lost Souls which featured Jack, Gwen, Ianto and Martha.

Below is the official synopsis for In the Shadows;

A man has died of old age in his 30s. This, among other strange events, has lead Torchwood to conclude that someone is sending victims to another dimension, one in which they are punished by the thing which they fear the most. Who is the mysterious taxi driver preying on his passengers?

In the Shadows is currently scheduled for release at the RRP of £12.72 on the Seventh of May around the United Kingdom and Ireland. Torchwood will return this Summer with its third series, Torchwood: Children of Earth.
