Planet of the Dead Appreciation Index

BARB have recently revealed the official Appreciation Index figure for the Doctor Who Easter special Planet of the Dead featuring David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor alongside one-off companion Lady Christina portrayed by Michelle Ryan. This one-off episode of Doctor Who managed to achieve an Appreciation Index figure of 88 for its broadcast on Saturday.

Mondays BBC One repeat of Planet of the Dead managed to receive a slightly higher Appreciation Index figure of 89 and was watched by 1.8 million viewers with another 30,000 watching on BBC HD. Sundays BBC Three repeat of Planet of the Dead managed to receive 0.76 million viewers.

BARB will release official ratings for Planet of the Dead next week which is rumoured to breach 10 million.
