The Rising Night Audio

Details regarding an upcoming Doctor Who audio have recently been revealed by BBC Audiobooks. The audio currently goes by the title of The Rising Night and has been written by Scott Handcock. This audio will feature the tenth Doctor and an audio only companion called Charity.

Below is the official synopsis for The Rising Night;

The story of a brand new adventure for the Doctor, as played by David Tennant in the hit BBC One series. The TARDIS arrives in an 18th Century village in the Yorkshire Moors, where livestock has been vanishing from the farmland and strange lights have been seen in the skies. Something is very wrong here, and he soon becomes involved in a nightmarish adventure, in which he is helped by a young local woman named Charity. Who is feeding on the blood of the locals, and where will the carnage stop...?

The Rising Night is expected for release on the second of July this year at the RRP of £9.97 around the United Kingdom and Ireland. The narrator of this story hasn’t been confirmed as of yet but it is speculated to be narrated by someone from the main cast.

Previous audios featuring the tenth Doctor include; Pest Control and The Forever Trap. A third titled The Nemonite Invasion is scheduled for release this Thursday.
