Today has seen the BBC audio release of The Mind of Evil as a two disc audio CD. This audio contains the original television soundtrack with linking narration from Richard Franklin who portrayed Captain Mike Yates throughout Doctor Who’s original run.Below is the official synopsis for this audio;
The original TV soundtrack, with new linking narration by a member of the cast, this 6-part adventure from 1971 stars Jon Pertwee as the Doctor with Katy Manning as his companion Jo Grant. The Doctor is caught up in events at Stangmoor Prison, where Professor Keller's new machine is said to be able to remove all evil impulses from the minds of the prisoners. Nicholas Courtney and Roger Delgado also star as the Brigadier and the Master.
The Mind of Evil was first broadcast during 1971 starring Jon Pertwee as the third Doctor and Katy Manning as his assistant Jo Grant. An exclusive interview with Richard Franklin is also featured on this two disc audio release.
